This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the factors influencing job satisfaction among handwoven CARPET weavers. The research employed a qualitative methodology, and sampling was initially carried out using convenience sampling, followed by snowball sampling. The data collection tool in this research was semi-structured interviews, which continued until data saturation was achieved. Ultimately, 64 male and female weavers from the provinces of Isfahan, Ilam, Kurdistan, Tabriz, Qazvin, Tehran, and Alborz were selected as participants in the study. The main research question consisted of an open-ended question aimed at identifying the factors influencing job satisfaction among handwoven CARPET weavers. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tools. The results of this study revealed that factors such as providing insurance for CARPET weavers, easy and unimpeded access to raw materials, increasing wages, allocating loans based on fair criteria to those truly eligible, boosting the domestic market and enabling consistent product offerings, changing officials’ perceptions to view weaving as a profession, supporting weavers directly rather than merchants, and promoting policies favoring weavers over traders, were among the key factors influencing job satisfaction among handwoven CARPET producers. Among these, providing insurance for CARPET weavers was reported by participants as the most significant factor in improving job satisfaction.
